Professor John Dumba Sentamu

Dr Francine Mestrum

Francine Mestrum is a social scientist with a PhD in development cooperation from Université Libre de Bruxelles. She has taught at the university and conducted several training missions in Africa, Latin America and Asia concerning global issues, poverty reduction, social protection and gender policies. She is actively involved in research and publication in the áreas of human-rights and social commons, social protection and basic income among others with experience in organizing and acting as an interpreter at international conferences. She has been a member of the European group for critical thinking on European policies and has also been involved in many social organization activities covering social and economic rights, racism and citizenship, and global democratization. She is the coordinator of the global network of ‘Global Social Justice’ working on the social dimension of globalization.

Dr. Vincent Aloysius Ssembatya.

Vincent is currently the Director of Quality Assurance at Makerere University. He was Dean of the Faculty of Science at Makerere University for the period 2005 to 2009. Vincent is a member of the Governing Council of the African Network for Scientific and Technological Institutions (ANSTI) representing the East African Region. He holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Florida.

Dr. Moses Kizza Musaazi

Moses Holds PhD in Electrical Engineering from Imperial College, University of London. He is a University senior lecturer at Makerere University and practicing engineer and international consultant in Appropriate Technology.He is also an innovator and producer of 7 technologies e.g. Sanitary pads trademark “MakaPads”and worked as a Consultant in Electrical Power Systems and Renewable Energy for the last 24 years. He is currently the managing Director of Technology for Tomorrow Limited.

Dr Grace Nambatya

Dr. Grace Nambataya Kyeyune is a Pharmacologist with a PhD in Antimicrobial Agents from Loughborough University of Technology, Leicestershire, UK. She has taught Chemistry from lower, middle, high school and at the university. She has also been involved with supervising students for higher degrees in addition to carrying out research on a number of projects. She is the Director of Natural Chemotherapeutic Research Institute of the Ministry of Health, Uganda. She is involved in the promotion of the quality of traditional herbal and nutritional medicines in Uganda.
